Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Appetite Social OS, the social connection and sharing service operated by Appetite Think Labs. By using Appetite Social OS or connecting an account through an Appetite application, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance and scope

These Terms apply to Appetite Social OS connection, sharing, upload, attribution, and support functions. If you do not agree, do not use Appetite Social OS or authorize a connected account.

Eligibility and authority

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms and satisfy the age and eligibility rules of each connected service. You may connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

Account security and authorization

You are responsible for the security of your Appetite and connected-platform accounts and for activity you authorize. Appetite Social OS receives only the permissions approved during the platform authorization flow. You may disconnect or revoke access at any time.

Connected third-party services

TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and other connected services are independent third parties. TikTok is not operated by or part of Appetite Think Labs. Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own terms, privacy policy, community guidelines, eligibility rules, and platform decisions. Appetite Social OS does not control a third party's availability, approval, or treatment of content.

User content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you provide or select. You grant Appetite Think Labs only the limited permissions reasonably necessary to receive, process, format, transmit, and deliver that content as part of the share or upload action you request. You represent that you have the rights needed to use the content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

Uploads and publishing

Appetite Social OS does not upload or publish content without an explicit user action. For TikTok V1, a user selects an eligible video and directs Appetite Social OS to upload it using TikTok's upload-to-draft capability. The video is sent to the user's TikTok inbox as a draft; the user must finish editing and choose whether to publish it inside TikTok. Direct Post is not enabled in TikTok V1.

TikTok V1 requests user.info.basic and video.upload only. Appetite Social OS does not request video.publish in V1. A provider-generated upload or draft identifier confirms the handoff but does not mean the user has published the content publicly.

Sharing links and referrals

Appetite Social OS may generate a public sharing link containing referral or campaign information that identifies the originating Appetite app, content, or sharing channel. You may use these links only for lawful sharing. Referral attribution does not guarantee traffic, engagement, availability, or acceptance by a third-party platform.

Prohibited use

• No automated spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, engagement manipulation, or deceptive activity.
• No attempt to circumvent platform rate limits, permissions, safeguards, or review requirements.
• No use of Appetite Social OS to access accounts or data you are not authorized to use.
• No unlawful, infringing, harmful, malicious, or unauthorized content or activity.
• No interference with the security, integrity, operation, or other users of Appetite Social OS.

Appetite Social OS intellectual property

Appetite Social OS, its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Appetite Think Labs or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service except where applicable law permits.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Appetite Social OS handles connected account data, content, tokens, technical records, and deletion requests.

Suspension, termination, and disconnect

You may stop using Appetite Social OS and disconnect a platform account at any time. We may suspend or limit access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law or platform rules, investigate misuse, or address a material violation of these Terms.

Third-party APIs and service changes

Appetite Social OS depends on third-party APIs and approvals. Features may change, pause, or become unavailable when a platform changes its technology, access rules, permissions, or review outcome. We may modify Appetite Social OS to preserve security, compliance, and reliability.

Disclaimers

Appetite Social OS is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Appetite Think Labs disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including uninterrupted availability or acceptance of content by a third-party platform.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Appetite Think Labs is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from third-party platform actions, service interruption, or unauthorized account activity. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
